Even the Jasmine Chooses

The jasmine and I have come
back to life.
She with three days of rain
and me with my meditations.

afirmándonos
en la tierra.
I’m feeling better again and she
is green.
People are at war.
War is not a thing of this earth.
Not like trees or flowers or sky or rain.
Human seeds love
and human seeds hate.
We choose a path.
Each step marks the way we grow.
Even the jasmine chooses.
